Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EzTip ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. EzTip is operated by Sienar Labs ("we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

EzTip is a tip calculator application that helps users calculate tips, split bills, and convert currencies. The App is provided "as is" for informational and convenience purposes only.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Sienar Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that have their own terms and privacy policies:

Google AdMob: Provides advertisements in the free version of the App. Google Privacy Policy
Open Exchange Rates: Provides currency conversion rates
PostHog: Provides anonymous usage analytics. PostHog Privacy Policy

We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

The free version of EzTip displays advertisements. By using the free version, you consent to receiving these advertisements. You may remove ads by purchasing a subscription or one-time purchase within the App, subject to the terms of the applicable app store.

In-App Purchases

EzTip may offer in-app purchases to remove advertisements or unlock features. All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.

Disclaimers

No Financial Advice: EzTip is a calculator tool for convenience only. The calculations provided are for reference purposes and do not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. Always verify important calculations independently.

Currency Rates: Exchange rates are provided by third-party services and may not reflect real-time market rates. Rates are cached and updated periodically. Do not rely on the App for financial transactions requiring precise exchange rates.

As-Is Basis: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sienar Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.
